One-tap nudges
Send a little something with a single tap — it arrives as a notification on their phone.
One app for the two of you. A daily question, a photo, a tiny plant you grow together — little rituals that make the distance feel kinda small.
Long calls are lovely, but life gets busy and time zones get in the way. Kinda Close gives you a few minutes of real connection every day — whenever it fits.
Every day brings one new question for the two of you. Your partner’s answer stays hidden until you’ve shared yours — so nobody copies, and every answer is honest.
Tap an emoji to check in and see how your partner is feeling today. Then play three quick This-or-That picks and find out how in sync you are.
A fresh prompt every day — like “Show me your view right now”. Snap yours, and theirs unlocks. Suddenly the other side of the world feels a little less far.
Name your plant and watch it grow every day you both answer. Forget for a while and it starts to wilt — the cutest reminder to show up for each other.
A countdown to your next reunion, a “together since” counter, and two clocks side by side — your time and theirs, the time difference, and the distance between your towns.
Send a little something with a single tap — it arrives as a notification on their phone.
Write letters they can open any time — “Open when you miss me” — or seal them until a special date.
Collect everything you want to do on your next visit, together, in one list you both can add to.
Every answered question and every daily photo, saved in one shared album — your story, day by day.
Sign in with Apple, Google or email, and everything comes with you to your next phone.
Only you and your partner see what you share. No ads, no tracking, no selling your data. Ever.
No complicated setup. One of you shares a code, the other types it in — done. Works across iPhone and Android, too.
Get the app on iPhone or Android. You can start right away — signing in is optional and keeps your data safe on a new phone.
Send your partner your 6-character invite code (or a link). They enter it and you’re connected.
Answer the question, send a photo, water your plant. A few minutes a day that add up to a lot.
Everything you need to feel close is free. Premium adds more to talk about — and one subscription covers both of you, even if one has an iPhone and the other Android.
All the daily rituals, for both of you.
No credit card needed
More to talk about, more ways to show it.

Yes. The daily question, mood check-in, This or That, photo of the day, your shared plant, countdown, clocks, nudges, letters, bucket list, Moments and widgets are all free — no trial, no credit card.
Kinda Close Premium ($4.99/month or $29.99/year, with a 7-day free trial) adds all question packs (Deep, Future and Spicy 🌶️), more widget styles and an unlimited Moments album.
No. One Premium subscription covers both of you. When one partner subscribes, the other gets Premium automatically for as long as you’re connected — even if one of you is on iPhone and the other on Android.
Only your town and country — never your exact location. When you set up your profile, Kinda Close can use your location once to look up your town (or you simply search for it). We store coordinates rounded to about 10 km, just enough to show the distance between you and your partner. There’s no live tracking, ever.
Details are in our Privacy Policy.
Yes! Kinda Close is coming to both iPhone and Android. Mixed couples are welcome: one of you can be on iPhone and the other on Android, and everything — including a shared Premium subscription — works across both.
Disconnecting unlinks both of you at once: you stop sharing anything new, and a shared Premium subscription no longer carries over to the partner who didn’t buy it. Your own account stays yours until you delete it.
If you want your data gone for good, delete your account — that removes your profile, your content and your photos.
In the app, go to Settings → Account → Delete account. Your profile, content and photos are deleted within 30 days (backups roll off within up to 30 more days). Can’t open the app? Email hello@kindaclose.app and we’ll do it for you.
Deleting your account does not cancel a store subscription — cancel it in your Apple ID or Google Play settings. Here’s how.
